YMCA Scarborough is aware that the cost of living is rising and therefore we want to offer support to young people if we are able to. We, therefore, have a number of spaces available for free and a discount scheme available.
Free Places
You may be eligible to for a free place if your child is:
- Eligible for free school meals even if you don’t receive them
- Ukrainian and Afghan Refugee Children
- Children Assessed as being at risk or vulnerable
- Young Carers
- Looked-After Children
- Children with a EHC plan
- Children living in Castle Ward, who are from low incomes households who do not receive free school meals
If any of the above apply to you you can use the discount codes provided below at checkout to try and get a free place, it’s first come, first served. You will need to provide proof, we will email you instructions on how to do this. Only one free place per household is available, any other children are eligible to the discount below (except for FEAST).

Discounted Places
You are eligible for a discounted place if your child is:

- Who are from low incomes households in Scarborough who do not receive free school meals
If any of the above apply, use the discount code below at checkout, we will email you a form to complete to provide proof. You will need to pay the difference to keep your child place if you claim incorrectly.
