Dates
The Rehearsal Start Date for this production is Wednesday 10th May.
Dress/Tech Rehearsals for this production are 18th, 19th, 20th, & 24th July
The Production Dates for this production are 25th July – 31st August, 18 performance Every Tues, Weds and Thurs at 7:30pm
Rehearsal Dates
Rehearsals run every Monday & Wednesday, the first rehearsal date will be confirmed at the audition
Rehearsals are 6.30pm- 9.30pm, as the show nears rehearsals will be until 10pm.
You may not need to attend every rehearsal, there may also be additional rehearsals which will be told to you asap. This might include some Sundays
A rehearsal schedule will be given to you, please note that magic booking will show rehearsals you might not actually need to attend.
Media
Please read consent carefully on our sign-up forms, you must consent to your child performing on stage to participate in this activity.
Participation Fees
The cracker participation fee is £65, this fee helps to pay for costumes, staff for rehearsals, props and scenery. You can pay this fee upfront or you can set up a payment plan, this will be explained to you. If this fee means that you can not take part in the production, please speak to us confidentially by emailing us at info@ymcayorks.uk
Auditions
Tuesday 2nd May 2023- Arrive at 6pm at the Theatre Entrance
Everyone who wishes to take part should attend this audition
You will take part in a dance that will be shown to you at the audition, you will take part in a cast workshop that will include singing and acting.
Further auditions for Principles will take place on 3rd May and 4th May

This has changed due to developments in our safeguarding requirements, please make sure you read carefully
Select one of the four options below
I am registering for a child who is aged 11 - 18
We use a system called MagicBooking for you to easily provide your child’s details, and ensure that we can do all we can to keep your child safe.
This is a new system so if you previously had a TeamUp account you will need to reapply, don’t worry though we find this easier than TeamUp.
You must have parental responsibility over the child to register them.
Once you have created your account, add your child or children. You will then be able to book any activity (including auctions) that your child is able to do.
I am registering for an adult who is 18 or over who has extra support requirements or otherwise can not sign themselves up
We use a system called MagicBooking for you to easily provide details of a person who needs extra support, and ensure that we can do all we can to keep vulnerable adults safe
This is a new system so if you previously had a TeamUp account you will need to reapply, don’t worry though we find this easier than TeamUp.
MagicBooking uses the term Child for a person who you are supporting, whether you are actually a person with parental responsibility or not. We have asked them to change this.
Once you have created your account, add as many people as you are supporting in the children section. You will then be able to book any activity (including auctions) that person is eligible for.
I am registering myself and I am 17 or over, or I'm 16 but no longer in secondary school education
We have stopped using TeamUp as a registration system as we look to improve our safeguarding requirements.
To register for the audition as an adult attendee, you must confirm that you are 17 or over, or 16 but no longer in secondary education, and the person(s) with parental responsibility is allowing you to sign yourself up.
I am registering myself and I am under 16 or 16 and still in Secondary Education
Due to changes in Safeguarding Requirements and the need for us to keep you safe while, you can not register yourself at these ages. You must be registered by someone with Parental Responsibility, this could be a support worker.
We are sorry for this change but it is necessary
